Our People

VCA currently has a team of around thirty employees and has ambitious plans to grow more in the near future. We have experience auditing INGOs such as Save The Children, The Asian Foundation, Catholic Relief Services, Handicap International, Plan International, World Vision Cambodia, Care Cambodia, Johanniter (GROWTH Project) and Don Bosco.

Our leadership team members who previously worked for big 4 Audit firms such as EY, KPMG & Deloitte have vast experience with World Bank, Global Fund, ADB and various other International NGOs and Micro Finance and Banking.

They have a balance of skills, experience and practical knowledge that meet the needs of clients in the market place. These diverse nationalities will help train, mentor and build our local team, as we strive to offer first class accountancy, audit, tax and advisory services.

We have experience across a variety of sectors including not for profit entities, manufacturing, leisure and garments. Out leadership team has experience in financial services and we are looking at expanding into this sector in the near future on receipt of the necessary licenses.

Mr. Ung Savy

He had earned bachelor's degrees from National University of Management (NUM). Savy has over 15 years of experiences in the field of auditing, accounting, taxation, marketing and management in private sector. His last 6 years as General Manager at V Chartered Accountants have given him the opportunities to develop an extensive knowledge and understanding of business management, financial management, and risk management.

Savuth earned his Master of Business Administration and with a couple of International Short Course Programs; He has over 22 years’ experience with International NGOs in leadership positions such as Director of Human Resources. He gained extensive knowledge and understanding about NGO’s operations, strategies and policies in Cambodia and in Asia Region.
Savuth has strong strategic and management skills and other field in HR include policies, compensation and job evaluation, training, legal compliance, and organizational restructure. Since 2018 until now, he is managing V Chartered Accountants Co., Ltd (Audit Firm), which is in private sector and totally new industry for him. However, with his strong and professional teammates, he seems to like the job and the profession; he wants to help and direct the company to reach the highest quality of services in order to contribute to the development of Accounting and Auditing Profession in Cambodia and beyond.

 

Mrs. Priscilla Palad

Priscilla is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines and Cambodia, currently active member of PICPA and KICPAA. She has been engaged in the field of auditing, taxation and accounting for more than 20 years. She started her career with Carlos J. Valdes and Co. CPAs / Coopers and Lybrand in 1980 as a junior auditor and in Cambodia she was Managing Partner with Vanda Accounting and Audit firm for 5 years and now as Audit Partner with V Chartered Accountants Co., Ltd. During this long service period she had gained intensive experience in auditing work and has credentials in master's in business administration, Certified Accounting Technician, Diploma of Cambodian Business Laws and Diploma of Cambodian Tax. She has gained technical skills and practical knowledge commensurate with detailed knowledge of clients’ organization in the conduct of each audit assignment.  Proven success in reducing hours spent on engagements and thus increasing firm profits and productivity. Proficient in the use of both audit and accounting software as well as Microsoft office suites makes her easily adaptable to any organization.

Sambo is a member of Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA), also a fellow member of ACCA UK and active member of KICPAA. He earned a master's degree in project management from Lumiere University Lyon2 in French and also, graduated bachelor's degree in finance and banking and IT as well. He has proven knowledge and skills in IFRS, auditing standards, ERP software, Quick book, SPSS and Design software and programming language. He has over six years of audit experience in Big4 accounting firm in Cambodia and Singapore (EY). Also, he has five years of professional experience as head of finance and performance in big group company in Cambodia. He audited in many industries include Public Sector in different Ministries of Royal Government of Cambodia, NGOs (mostly international and local), Donor-Funded projects (WB, GF, ADB, EU and UNICEF) and finally, Commercial Sector and Banking in Cambodia and Singapore.

 

Mr. Kun Samnang

Samnang is pursuing his Professional Level of the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA). He expects it to be completed few Ps soon. He has experiences over 23 years in audit and assurance with KPMG Cambodia and Malaysia. In addition, he has vast knowledge and skills in IFRS, Internal control, Internal audit, audit financial statement, financial reporting an taxation. His last position with KPMG was Senior Audit Manager. He had audited in many industries include: Public Sector in different Ministries of Royal Government of Cambodia, NGOs (mostly international and local), Donor-Funded projects (WB, GF, ADB, and EU).
